Known for his highly technical and strategic fighting style, his fight IQ, and dynamic footwork, Ciryl "Bon Gamin" Gane has remarkable qualities for his weight category. He is widely considered as one of the most promising fighters in the world of MMA. Ciryl Gane was born in La Roche-Sur-Yon. Very sporty and athletic from a very young age, Ciryl took his first steps in the world of combat sports at the age of 24. He joined a Parisian Muay Thai club and his potential was immediately noticed. After his first amateur fights, Gane became a semi-professional French champion in 2016. A year later, after turning professional, Ciryl won the national title twice (2017 & 2018) and went on to shock the Muay Thai world by winning his fight against the number 1 ranked heavyweight, Belgian Yassine Boughanem. In 2018, Ciryl Gane joined one of the most reputable MMA clubs in France - the MMA Factory. He progressed at lightning speed alongside his coach Fernand Lopez and made his debut in the cage, in a Canadian TKO Major League MMA organization. After winning his first fight, he earned the Heavyweight belt. The following year, in 2019, he made his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut against Rafael Pessoa and recorded his first win, followed by an impressive run to become the Interim Champion of the UFC's Heavyweight devision.
