I haven’t actually used them much in the gym yet but have tried them on and walked around in them for a while, jumped rope a bit, and they fit perfectly. They are wide enough in the toe box which was, not only, my concern for these shoes, but quite rightly, is my concern for any boxing shoes or boots as they always tend to be too narrow on the forefoot. So, as it currently stands, they are fantastic. They feel comfortable and there is no pinch anywhere. Very good all around boxing training shoes. They function everywhere in the boxing gym, NOT only in the ring; which, if you know boxing shoes, then you know that not all boxing shoes are rated by their manufacturer to hold up outside the ring ( suggested use for sparring, fighting, or in the actual ring training ONLY ). These seem to be well suited for, “in the ring” work as well as “on the floor” work i.e. skipping rope, heavy bag work, double end and speed bag training. Probably the best overall training shoe at this price point. They run a bit large so DO order a half size down from your regular shoe size. For example, I normally wear a size 13 for about every shoe. That said, I initially ordered the size 13 and they were too roomy in the toe, foot slid around a bit. So I exchanged them for a size 12.5 and they fit like a glove.
